Cross My Heart!

About this book

As our heroine heads out to play, she decides to tell her mother something she thinks is important to say. And her mother asks her if what she said was true. And she assures her mother that she would never lie. Her bother overhears the conversation, and he tells her that everyone lies and so does she! And so, she tells her little brother the same thing she told her mother! And then. . . off she goes to ask the elephant and her other friends what they think. Think about what you would tell our heroine as you practice reading skills, and as you build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you travel through the pages of this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by the award-winning author, attorney and former teacher, Penelope Dyan. But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun, or a kid like you just won't love to learn! And when you are all finished traveling through this book, you can go to Bellissimavideo's YouTube channel; and you can watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book! And then you can have even more learning fun!
