Great Grandma Says, "Shake Things Up!

About this book

Our heroine's great grandma comes to visit. And just as our heroine is going outside to play, her great grandma tells her to shake things up! Our heroine doesn't understand what her great grandma meant by what she said; and so, she goes about telling everyone she knows (starting with the elephant) what her great grandma told her, to find out if they have any thoughts on the subject. And in the end, she figures it out all by herself!Think about what you think our heroine's great grandma meant, as you practice your reading skills and build reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find on the pages of this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by award winning author, attorney and former teacher, Penelope Dyan. But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun, or a kid like you just won't love to learn!
