Great Grandma Says, "Some things are easy as pie!

About this book

As our heroine heads out to play, Great Grandma tells our heroine "Some things are easy as pie!" And our heroine is left wondering what Great Grandma meant! And then (as she usually does) our heroine decides to ask everyone she knows what they think Great Grandma meant. And . . . she begins with her friend, the elephant! And . . . in the end, she figures out what her great grandma meant all by herself! (And what Great Grandma said . . . really had nothing to do with pie!)Think about what you would tell our heroine about what you think her great grandma meant, as you practice reading skills, and as you build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find on the pages of this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by award winning author, attorney and former teacher, Penelope Dyan. But most of all, have fun as you learn; because learning must be (and should always be) fun, or a kid like you just won't love to learn! And when you are all finished traveling through this book, you can go to Bellissimavideo's YouTube channel; and you can watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book! And then . . .you can have even more learning fun!
