Prayers to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for Urgent Miracles

About this book

Although the origins of the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus began in the New Testament, as in John 19:34 which recounts the spear-thrust from which blood and water flowed, this devotion developed throughout the history of the Church from its earliest centuries. Saints such as Saint Justin Martyr meditated on the Heart of Jesus, while Saint Gertrude the Great and Saint Catherine of Siena received mystical visions of this Heart burning with love. Over the centuries, the devotion grew, nourished by mystics, theologians, and the faithful who found in this symbol the purest representation of divine love. This book joins the great tradition of prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, inviting readers to unite in confident supplication for urgent miracles and special needs. As Scripture reminds us: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7). On every page breathes the hope that, in turning to the pierced Heart of Christ, comfort, strength, and the grace needed for every difficult situation are found. With 25 prayers inspired by the writings and teachings of great saints, a beautiful 9-day novena to present our most pressing intentions, carefully selected Bible verses, and historical images of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, this book is a spiritual jewel. Compiled by Saúl Cruz, specialist in the translation of classical texts and the creation of prayer books, it is a devotional guide for those seeking a profound experience of faith, comfort, and closeness with the infinite love of Christ.
