The 15 Prayers of Saint Bridget of Sweden

About this book

Born into Swedish nobility, Saint Bridget of Sweden experienced intense mystical visions from her childhood that shaped the tone of her spirituality and the direction of her entire life. An exemplary wife and mother of eight children, it was in widowhood that she deepened her prayer life and her love for Our Lord Jesus Christ, embracing humility and radical poverty. During this special time of recollection, she received profound revelations from Christ, which were recorded in her Heavenly Revelations, influencing both her own era and Christian spirituality to this day. This book gathers prayers inspired by the original 15 of Saint Bridget, seeking the intercession and companionship of this great saint for all who desire to meditate on and make reparation for the sufferings of Christ. With holy passages, deep meditations, and the echo of Bridget's witness, this work invites contemplation of the Passion through heartfelt, prayerful words, accompanying the personal journey toward a living and persevering faith. Each prayer is presented as a bridge to grace, encouraging perseverance in the love of God and service to others.
