Everything makes Evie feel numb and empty, until she discovers the fantastical world of the online role-playing game, Children of Hypnos, which her best friend had been obsessed with, but never really drew Evie in. Until now.Set in the world of Eliza and Her Monsters, Evie and Her Nightmares is about the depths we go to after a traumatic event and how we can find help and healing from the people we connect with online. Francesca Zappia once again proves herself a one-of-a-kind YA author with her unique literary voice, authentic portrayal of neurodiverse characters, willingness to touch on sensitive themes, and innovative multimedia format.
