Holiday gifting questions

What makes a good book gift?

Pick something the person can enjoy without reading anything else first: a cookbook, an art or travel book, or a picture book for a child. This shelf collects popular books in those sections that Kuumba Bookstore has ready to ship.

Can I send a book straight to someone else?

Yes. Enter the recipient’s address when you check out. Kuumba Bookstore ships to United States addresses only, for now.

When should I order a holiday gift?

Order early. Books ship from our distributor, and delivery dates are estimates from the distributor or carrier, not guarantees, so leave extra time during the holidays.

What if the gift arrives damaged or wrong?

Tell us within 14 days of delivery. We send a free replacement or a refund, and you don’t need to send the book back.

Can a gift be returned?

Yes. Email [email protected] with the order number and ship the book to our returns center. Once it arrives we refund the full book price to the original payment method. Return postage isn’t refunded.

Who runs Kuumba Bookstore?
