God Is...Writing

About this book

Find Your Place in God's Word The world is filled with so many distractions and so much digital noise; children need a firm foundation-something trustworthy that points them to truth. God's Word is that foundation. Research shows that children who engage with Scripture early in their lives develop stronger faith foundations and a deeper understanding of God's character.Through Emma's bedtime story journey with her father, young readers will discover: God is the Author of all Scripture. He inspired every word, and His character shines on every page, from Creation to Jesus and beyond. The Bible is a living story. God has been at work throughout history, and He is still writing His story in our lives today through His Spirit. Each child has a place in God's story. Each child is invited to know God personally through His Word and to live as part of His ongoing, grand narrative. This beautifully illustrated picture book introduces children to the foundational truth that God speaks to us through Scripture. With rhythmic, memorable verse and stunning collage artwork inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's own faith journey, God Is...Writing invites families to explore the Bible together, discovering that since God is the Author of all Scripture and the author of the stories of our own lives, we can trust we will find Him (and ourselves) on every page of His Word. This book also includes resources to help parents engage their children in further Scripture study and a fun Van-Gogh seek-and-find activity that will keep children flipping through the pages of the book long after the story is over.
