Transformation 2026

About this book

If contact begins... it won't start in Washington. It will begin in ordinary homes. This is the chronicle of one such experience.Six months after completing Communion, Whitley Strieber and his family became deeply involved with the beings he calls "the visitors." Transformation 2026 tells what happened next.It is NOT fiction. More than 30 named witnesses appear in this book-many of whom experienced contact alongside the Striebers. In 1989, Whitley published Transformation, followed by its companion volume Breakthrough.Together, they remain the only detailed account of sustained contact inside a normal family. What happens when "the others" enter daily life? There was fear. There was confusion. There were mistakes-on both sides. Our visitors are not angels, not demons, not gods. They are people-very, very different from us. And yet, in the ways that matter most, they are also like us. And both sides can work with that. This unique edition includes the complete original text of Transformation, plus hundreds of updates offering crucial new insight into what it means to live with these extraordinary, complicated, deeply conscious beings. We are frightened. Of course we are.But as this book makes clear...So are they. The real question is not whether contact is possible. The question is: how do we do this? One family found a wayThis is the story of how they endured it...learned from it...were changed by it...and, in the end, were enriched by it.If contact comes-and it may-the front line will not be hidden. It will be in homes all over the world-like yours.Learn how one family did it. And know that you can, too.
