The Sea Dragon Rescue

About this book

A mysterious tsunami. A poisoned dragon. An underwater race against time. When a devastating wave strikes the southern coast of the Kingdom of Orqueh, ten-year-old royal twins Prince Peter and Princess Ramele discover it wasn't a natural disaster, but a cry of grief. Deep beneath the ocean, Ryoya, a young Sea Dragon, has been gravely poisoned by toxic waste dumped into the River Elliot. His mother's rage and sorrow have shaken the very seas, threatening the safety of every ship and shore.Equipped with magical pearls that allow them to breathe underwater, the twins dive into a hidden world of bioluminescent caves and ancient volcanoes. To save Ryoya, they must join forces with their wizard mentor Mervyn, Clarissa the Mermaid, Pipia the Forest Fairy, and the legendary Chef Mas Grande. Their only hope lies in a perilous ancient recipe that requires impossible ingredients: a dolphin's song, a snippet of a rain cloud, and a drop of hot lava. From the bustling fishing docks to the depths of Mount Olivia, Peter and Ramele must track down the polluters and engineer a cure. In an adventure where science meets magic, the twins learn that even the smallest actions can turn the tide.Ideal for readers ages 8-12, this second volume in The Adventures of Princess Ramele and Prince Peter series blends immersive world-building with themes well-suited for classroom discussion and independent reading.
