Hair We Go!

About this book

Meet Doctor Zippy-the encouraging horse who helps his animal patients find their confidence, one "Hoovescription" at a time! Welcome to the world of the Just Keep Zippin' series, where Doctor Zippy, a horse with a heart as big as his velvety muzzle, helps his animal friends work through their worries. In Hair We Go!, Zippy meets Harry, a hairless cat who is feeling really down about his appearance. Harry worries that without fur, he doesn't fit in or look like other cats. He feels different, and it's making him sad. But Doctor Zippy knows just what to say. With a gentle "Hoovescription" and his signature wisdom, Zippy reminds Harry of his unique qualities-like the comfort he brings to his owner, Cindy, who is losing her own hair due to medical treatments. Zippy helps Harry see that his differences are not weaknesses, but gifts that make him special and important to those who love him. Filled with heartwarming humor and beautiful illustrations by the mother-daughter duo Kriss and Angel King, Hair We Go! is the first book in a series designed to empower young children to face common worries and challenges with confidence. This book is perfect for: Children learning about empathy, self-acceptance, and the importance of kindness Parents and caregivers looking for a gentle way to discuss differences and resilience Anyone who loves stories about animals, healing, and the power of a positive mindset The Just Keep Zippin' (Just Keep Zipping) series was born from resilience and faith.
