Dating in Decay

About this book

Agent Lyla Matthews had two rules in the zombie apocalypse: Don't get attached. Always aim for the head. She didn't plan to adopt a snarky teen sidekick or lead a rescue mission against a group of power-hungry captors-but the end of the world doesn't care about your five-year plan. Lyla's not looking for love. She's hunting a monster she's been chasing for years-and she won't stop until he's dead.Enter Jacob: a roguish ex-fire chief with solid combat skills, a dangerously sharp tongue, and a heart that refuses to die quietly. When his people are taken by a ruthless faction, he'll burn the world down to get them back-even if it means teaming up with a sassy, knife-wielding woman covered in zombie guts. They've both been surviving on their own terms. But together, they might just figure out how to start living again. For fans of pulse-pounding action, banter-filled slow burn, and spice amidst the apocalypse, Dating in Decay is a darkly funny, zombie-filled romp that will keep you laughing-and maybe gasping-until the very last page.
