becoming BlueCorn

About this book

Meet BlueCorn, a whimsical ear of blue corn who lives each day with joy and courage. Winding through the seasons, BlueCorn befriends the moon, listens to the river, faces a storm, and finds a sense of belonging in a wide and colorful world. There's a kernel of truth for readers of every age. \"I love BlueCorn's story because it really emphasizes that I can be myself, and that's okay!" -Millie Amos Killingsworth (age 9) "These luminous and charming paintings, with their deliciously rich colors, take us on a journey into mysteries of the life cycle." -Satoko Motouji (watercolor, ink and installation artist) "I have been following 'becoming BlueCorn' from the beginning, and I'm so happy to see this journey has begun! I wish BlueCorn well on these and many other adventures."-Marta Lu Clifford (Chinook, Cree, Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde)
