This next adventure leads down to the beach and follows Rylee, her new little sister Bell, and the author's childhood pets - Peachy the lovebird, Stormy the rescue cat, Taco the rescue green-winged macaw, and Chompie the chameleon who was actually a fish in real life. New Cavalier puppy Bell joined this Connecticut shoreline family in the spring of 2023 and can often be found "pouncing on Rylee's back and jumping up on her head." However, Rylee has learned to appreciate Bell - especially when they snuggle up for a nap or stare at humans together while hoping for treats.
