Larry's Hairy Dilemma

About this book

Larry's hair will not stop growing. He hides it under hoodies and keeps his head down, and it works until a windy day at school takes the decision away from him. The laughing that follows is the part he was afraid of. Then a barber named Grady gets hold of him. Larry's Hairy Dilemma is a picture book for children ages 4-8 about being the kid who gets laughed at, and about the grown-up who decides not to let that be the end of it. Written and illustrated by Stanley Geter, Jr. Useful for anti-bullying units, counseling sessions, and any child who has started covering something up. Perfect for: SEL classrooms, school counselors, and families talking about teasing.
