Escape From Iran & Islam

About this book

1979. Iran is about to explode. The earth-shattering political upheaval will redefine the region's relationships for generations. Amid the revolutionary chaos, the Soltani family is in grave peril. Colonel Hossein Soltani, a close advisor to the Shah of Iran, is betrayed and left to fend for himself when the shah flees for his life. Soltani's older son is safe in America, but is that an option for the rest of his family? He soon finds out that no place in Iran is safe. Who among them will live, and who will die? In the midst of the family's struggle for survival, the younger son Saeid Soltani is confronted with the need to reconcile Islam as seen in Ayatollah Khomeini's brutal Islamic Republic with the attractive gospel of peace and love preached by Jesus in the Bible. He dares to seek an answer to the forbidden question: Who is the true God-Allah or Jesus?
