Luca the Dragon Vet 2

About this book

When your patients are dragons, everything is bigger: the stakes, the challenges, and the messes! A girl named Luca enters a school for aspiring dragon vets in this high-flying new fantasy manga that fans of Witch Hat Atelier will adore, from the Eisner Award-winning creator of My Journey to Her. Luca, Jira, and Chloe have barely begun their studies at Cogniel Academy of Dracology when they and their fellow trainee vets are called upon to help with an emergency. A train carrying both human and non-human passengers has derailed, and the young trainees must triage dozens of wounded fire dragons--any of which could explode at any moment. But when Luca discovers one dragon using its massive frame to shield a little girl, she faces a difficult question: What do you do when the rules say human lives come first, but your heart says every life counts?
