A Circle of Life

About this book

Everything on earth has a connection to other things on earth. Life is a circle without end. Based on a captivating ancient Persian children's song, this richly illustrated picture book will take you on a journey through the fascinating world of natural connections. With truly gorgeous illustrations and a catchy, lyrical rhyming poem which describes life's many touchpoints, this treat of a children's book shows how wheat is connected to the mouse that eats it, the mouse to the cat that plays with it, the cat to a dog, the dog to a wolf, the wolf to a lion, the lion to a sword, the sword to rust, then rust to soil, and finally from soil back to the wheat. A beautiful way for parents, teachers, and caregivers to teach children ages 2-6 how everything in nature is connected to everything else, and each step along the way should be treasured.
