Shrii Lalithaa Sahasranaama Sthothram

About this book

Many people are unable to understand and appreciate much of the Hindu scriptures because these sacred texts are in Sanskrit, a most beautiful but intricate root language. This book interprets in easily understandable language, the thousand names of Lalithaadeevii, divine mother who is manifested in the entire universe from time immemorial. She is the auspicious embodiment of everything. Rama fondly recalls her early childhood days when her grandmother affectionately described the all-powerfulness and creative dexterity of mother goddess. This book offers poetic praises of goddess in her glory, magnificent beauty and matchless power. This book describes goddess in her varied forms and names. Parameeshwaraa, her male counterpart evolved from her as a precursor to the creation process. Goddess stays in the conscience of every being ready to offer guidance throughout one's life. Our goal is to find that divine being in us and submit ourselves to her. Unfortunately, we sometimes fall into the grip of our greedy mind with countless inappropriate desires and get entrapped into destiny. Real happiness is experienced when one engages the mind in hard work, honest living and contentment and when leading a life guided by pure conscience and awareness. Whether you are one who expresses spirituality through service to others or silent prayer or elaborate rituals, may this book help you tap into the healing and empowering root energy of her mysterious and awesome power. May this book help give you a window to mother goddess' brahmaanandaa, causeless happiness.
