Rooks The Fox Who Had No Tail

About this book

I would like to give thanks to the children who are different. The ones who may not run as fast as others, who may not dress as well as others, whose appearance is deemed unacceptable and who may not be as popular and socially gifted as others. Rooks represents the individuals who do not fit in and were told they do not matter because of their abnormality which is to say, "you are not normal." What is normal and why is normal the standard in humanity to make those who do not fit into this normal bubble an outcast or outlier? What they are saying in other words is you not being their "normal" makes you less than those who we consider normal. I object and push back to the tune of Hunter Hayes "Invisible" These labels that they give you just 'cause they don't understand If you look past this moment You'll see you've got a friend Waving a flag for who you are And all you're gonna do Yeah, so here's to you And here's to anyone who's ever felt invisible... this story is inspired by and for you!
