Jacob The Turtle

About this book

This Beginner Book starring Jacob The Turtle is the story of a young turtle without a shell. Jacob has a different take on what it means to be a turtle because his experiences have been... well, different. Without the protection of a shell, is Jacob still a turtle? Take this journey with Jacob as he struggles to accept his difference. Will others see him as a turtle? What happens when your greatest strength now becomes your greatest weakness? Originally created by Dr. Seuss, Beginner Books encourage children to read all by themselves, with simple words and illustrations that give clues to their meaning."I wish I had a shell... I wish I looked like them... then maybe they wouldn't stare. Maybe they wouldn't point their fingers and laugh and look at what isn't there." See what it's like to experience life from a different perspective. Are you still a turtle without a shell?
