About this book

When Snowdrop goes into her Post-Transition Hibernation, Altair is right there to swoop in and bring her to the Court of Power; to his master, the Liege. She awakens to a world without color, without hope of escape. To keep herself from becoming a prisoner, Snowdrop makes a deal with the Liege. She now has until the end of Spring to figure out an escape. Meanwhile, Solan, Jack, Reed, and Willow are desperately trying in vain to come up with a rescue plan. Things seem hopeless, and one completely loses faith and joins the Liege in an ill-fated attempt to bring Snowdrop home.
