Nye In February

About this book

Meet Nye - a homeschooled boy who lives with his mother outside of a small town. He spends his days exploring the woods, fields, and creek around the old, abandoned house on Little Green Hill and gets to know the animal inhabitants of the area. In February, Nye learns about wood frogs with the help of his friends the deer mice. He finds eggs in the woods and watches them hatch into tadpoles and then gradually develop. One of the young frogs, Trooper, becomes a new friend in the process. Learn about wood frogs across the story, find out about the author's personal connection to them, see the real Trooper, and gain access to a 30-page supplemental packet that can be downloaded and explored by the whole family, filled with educational projects, activities, and resources to accompany the book. Come spend some time at Little Green Hill!
