The I Scream Truck

About this book

Asking too many questions about the new ice cream truck puts a boy on thin ice in this entry in the bone-chilling middle grade horror series An Eerie Tale, perfect for fans of Goosebumps and Christopher Pike. John's sister has always warned him that curiosity killed the cat. But he can't help it--nosiness is in his nature. So when Mr. Dandy's neighborhood ice cream truck is suddenly replaced by Mr. Twisty's horror-themed truck, John has questions. Did Mr. Dandy really retire to Florida? Why does Mr. Twisty seem as sinister as his truck? Something about him makes John's blood run cold. Putting his curiosity to work, John discovers Mr. Twisty is making mysterious nighttime deliveries to his neighbors. Who needs ice cream at two o'clock in the morning? Clearly something strange is happening, and John is determined to figure out what. But sticking his nose where it doesn't belong might have serious consequences...
