The Witch at Bittersweet End

About this book

For readers of The Clackity and The Bellwoods Game comes a spooky illustrated middle grade tale of a new kid who teams up with the local witch to uncover the wickedness hiding in their seemingly perfect little town. Bad things don't happen in the small, sleepy town of Sapwood Coombe. At least that's what everybody tells Olive when she moves from New York to Vermont. For her mother it's a fresh start; for Olive it's the end of the world. Until she meets Tamsin. Tamsin isn't like other kids. She doesn't go to school or have any parents. She talks to plants, predicts the weather, and gets her recipes from an old spell book. But Tamsin has secrets--dangerous secrets tied up in the town's lore. And she's not the only one... Bad things don't happen in Sapwood Coombe. Or do they?
