Eight Days

About this book

What would you do if you had eight days to say goodbye to your child? When Krystal Bennett received the call no parent is prepared for, she and her husband drove 480 miles through the night to reach their daughter Angelica - a young wife, military veteran, and prodigal daughter - lying unconscious and on life support at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. What followed were eight of the most harrowing, faith-stretching, and ultimately transforming days of their lives. As Angelica's parents kept vigil at her bedside, something extraordinary began to unfold. Through raw Facebook Live videos, nearly 900,000 people joined them in prayer. Strangers became prayer warriors. Skeptics began to ask questions. And a young husband who had lost his faith found himself face to face with a God he could no longer deny.Eight Days is not simply a story of loss. It is a mother's firsthand account of watching God move in the middle of the unimaginable - healing what medicine could not, answering prayers in ways that defied expectation, and saving souls even as one slipped away. Told with unflinching honesty and anchored in scripture, Krystal's story will challenge your understanding of suffering, deepen your trust in God's sovereignty, and remind you that He is at work even when we cannot see it.A powerful and moving story, Angelica's light shines through every page. Whether you are a grieving parent, a struggling believer, or someone who has never known the love of Christ, Angelica's story is for you.Eight Days will leave you with one undeniable truth: God answers prayer.
