Safe with God

About this book

Join author Becky Christine Martin on three heartwarming, faith-building adventures in her inspiring new children's collection, Safe with God. Through gentle storytelling and relatable family moments, each story helps young readers understand the depth of Jesus' love, forgiveness, and protection in everyday life.In The Most Beautiful Dress, little Magdalena has finally grown big enough to fit into the special white dress her mother lovingly made for her. But as she celebrates her birthday, she also discovers that she has done some not-so-good things-hurting feelings, disobeying, and making mistakes that leave her feeling ashamed and discouraged. Her day feels ruined until Dad shares a life-changing lesson about Jesus' Robe of Righteousness-the beautiful, perfect life Jesus gives to each of us to cover our sins. Through this memorable story, children learn that Jesus' forgiveness is a precious gift meant for everyone, and that no mistake is too big for His love to cover. In The Unwanted Guest: Covid in the Hands of Jesus, readers walk alongside Hannah, her family, and the residents of a nursing home as an unexpected visitor-Covid-brings fear, uncertainty, and illness. Yet even in the middle of a pandemic, the story reveals how Jesus brings hope, help, and healing in ways both seen and unseen. As the family prays, sends cards, and shares Bible truths with those who are lonely or afraid, children witness the power of prayer, compassion, and God's comforting care during difficult times. This story gently reassures young readers that Jesus is present in every trial and that His hands are always working for good. Finally, in the title story Safe with God, children meet energetic Benjamin as he explores the outdoors, faces sudden storms, wrestles with fears, and discovers what it truly means to be protected by God. Whether Benjamin is jumping in puddles, encountering frightening weather, navigating disagreements, or comforting others, he learns that God is stronger than anything he faces. Through conversations with his family and powerful Bible verses, Benjamin comes to understand that God is like a safe and mighty castle-always surrounding His children with strength, love, and protection.Together, these three stories offer young readers, pre-teens, families, and classrooms a beautiful introduction to important spiritual truths: God forgives us, God is with us, and God keeps us safe. Filled with warmth, Christian teachings, and heart-touching moments, Safe with God encourages children to trust in Jesus through every joy, challenge, and change they encounter. Perfect for family devotions, bedtime reading, Sunday school, Christian education, or simply sharing the love of Jesus at home. These faith-filled, action-packed stories will inspire children to grow in their relationship with God, understand His promises, and discover the comfort of being forever safe in His loving arms.
