40 Days of Prayer For the United States

About this book

40 Days of Prayer for the United States is a powerful, Scripture-rooted devotional designed for believers who hear the call to intercede for America with renewed fervor. In these pages, you'll be guided through forty days of prayer, fasting, and spiritual reflection-forty days modeled after the biblical pattern of repentance, preparation, and transformation. From Jonah's warning to Nineveh, to Moses' intercession for Israel, to Jesus' forty days in the desert, God has repeatedly used this sacred number to purify His people and prepare them for something new. This book leads you through five eight-day sections, intentionally shaped around the biblical symbolism of the number eight-new beginnings, resurrection, covenant, and new creation. Each section helps you pray not only for the healing of our nation, but also for spiritual renewal within your own heart. At the heart of this devotional is a profound act of trust: a consecration of the United States to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Through this consecration prayer, you will unite your intercession with the Sacred Heart of Jesus-burning with mercy, truth, and sacrificial love-and with the Immaculate Heart of Mary-your model of purity, faith, and maternal care. Together, these united hearts form a refuge for believers and a spiritual anchor for a nation longing for God's grace. Each day includes: - A daily scripture passage- A focused prayer for the United States- A daily sacrifice to offer for national repentance and renewal- Additional thoughts for meditation- A daily consecration prayerWhether you pray alone, with your family, or as part of a parish or prayer group, this devotional invites you to "storm Heaven" in unity with Christians across the country. America is in need of healing-but God is still able to revive, restore, and resurrect.Take up this forty-day journey. Pray with hope. Fast with purpose. Consecrate our nation to the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary-and believe that God can bring new life to the United States.
