About this book

One small voice. One brave choice. One God who makes it matter. In a time when Israel's faith had grown dim, a boy named Samuel lay sleeping in the quiet of the tabernacle - until the night God called his name. From that single moment, Samuel's life would never be the same. Though young and unseen, his simple yes became the start of a journey where God would speak through him, guide a nation, and shape the future of kings.Today, God still calls. Ethan's story echoes Samuel's, showing that even now, a listening heart can make all the difference. When Ethan hears God's whisper for the first time, his quiet obedience leads him into choices that cost him friendships, comfort, and belonging - but each yes ripples farther than he can see.In this modern-day Bible story children's book from the Children of the Word Series, kids will: Step into Samuel's world and experience the story of his calling and courage. Connect through a modern-day parable featuring Ethan as he learns to listen and follow God's voice. Discover an action plan designed to help kids apply biblical truths to their own everyday lives. Perfect for kids ages 6-12, this book brings Scripture to life through relatable storytelling and a gentle reminder: "God still speaks to those who listen. And your yes can change everything."Whether for bedtime reading, Sunday school, homeschool lessons, or family devotionals, Samuel: The Teen Who Saw God will inspire children to trust God's voice and follow Him one step at a time.
