Let Them Be Wrong About You

About this book

You have spent years explaining yourself. Justifying your choices. Defending your character to people who had already decided. You have bent yourself into shapes that hurt, just so someone else could be comfortable with who you are.It ends here.Let Them Be Wrong About You is a powerful guide to breaking the most exhausting cycle many of us never even realize we're in - the relentless pursuit of being understood by people who are not willing to truly see us.In this book, you will learn why the need for others' approval is wired so deeply into us - and how to gently, permanently rewire it. You will understand why the stories people tell about you say more about them than they ever will about you. You will discover what becomes possible when you stop defending yourself and start simply living. This is not a book about becoming cold. It is not about indifference or shutting people out. It is about something far more radical: building such a grounded, unshakeable relationship with your own truth that the misperceptions of others simply stop having power over you.You do not need everyone to agree with your choices in order for your choices to be right for you. You do not need a verdict from people who don't fully know you. You do not need to live inside someone else's story.Your peace does not require their understanding. Your worth does not require their agreement. Your life does not require their permission to be fully, beautifully real.Let them be wrong about you. And go live your life.
