I see God in nature

About this book

What if God left little signs everywhere .... and all we had to do was go outside and look?In this beautifully illustrated children's picture book, a curious young girl steps out into the world one bright morning with a simple question in her heart: Is God here? What she finds will delight young readers and move the parents reading beside them. She discovers it in the poppies that glow like drops of sunshine. In the tiny daisies hiding in the grass that are easy to miss but worth finding. In the lavender that smells sweet and hums with bees. In the sunflowers that turn their faces toward the light - and make her want to do the same. She finds it in a mustard seed small enough to hold in her palm, and in a redwood so tall she has to tip her head all the way back. In a vine that climbs by holding on. In a creek-side tree whose roots reach toward the water so it can grow strong and bright.By the end of her walk, she has her answer.Yes. God was here.Perfect for: Children ages 3 to 8 Bedtime reading and morning devotionals Sunday school, church libraries, and Christian homeschool families Any family that loves nature and wants to nurture faith in everyday moments Grandparents looking for a meaningful gift What's inside: Every page pairs a simple, lyrical observation from nature with a gentle spiritual truth, written in language young children can truly understand and carry with them. No complicated theology. Just wonder, beauty, and the feeling that the world was made with love. The book also includes a sweet bedtime prayer that children can make their own, and an outdoor activity page that invites kids to go outside and find the beauty God has left for them... a flower, a seed, a leaf, a bird, a tree. From the author: I wrote this book for the children who notice little things and ask big questions. The ones who crouch down to look at a tiny daisy, or stop to watch a hummingbird, or wonder out loud about things that grown-ups sometimes forget to wonder about. This book is for them and for the parents and grandparents lucky enough to read it beside them.- Candace Cook A note for parents and caregivers: Faith does not have to be complicated to be real. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is hand a child a seed, point them toward a sunflower, and say: look what God made. This book is a gentle, joyful companion for families who want to weave faith naturally into everyday life...not just on Sundays, but on every ordinary morning that turns out to be extraordinary.Warm, bright watercolor illustrations bring every page to life and make this a book children will ask to read again and again.I See God in Nature by Candace Cook A children's picture book about faith, wonder, and finding God in the beautiful world all around us.
