Defining Our Faith

About this book

Doctrine shapes discipleship......discipleship shapes the church. This devotional study of the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 helps us understand what Southern Baptists believe and why it matters for everyday life. Each article is explained with accessible commentary, Scripture, and discussion prompts, making this an ideal resource for new members, Sunday school classes, family worship, or personal study.Rooted in Scripture and designed to be helpful for all believers, this book invites us to anchor our lives in sound doctrine and live out the gospel with conviction. In an age increasingly hostile to Christian truth, our challenge is to express the truth as revealed in Scripture, and to bear witness to Jesus Christ, who is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." -- Dr. Adrian Rogers
