The Walk on Layton

About this book

How about taking a Walk into the Extraordinary? Ordinary days can become extraordinary adventures when wrapped in an awareness of God's presence with us on life's journey. But a journey with God has to begin somewhere-and it begins on an "Emmaus Road," a place where we meet Jesus and recognize who He is and what He has done for us. Invite Him to walk life with you, wherever you live. Give Him walking space as your forever-on-the-road-together companion. Watch a routine day in the backyard-a workday, a camping expedition, even a visit to a pig barn-become great adventures with Jesus. Your daily routine will never be just ordinary. The fifty-two stories in this book reflect the author's Walk with God on Layton Road, an ordinary country road in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Her hope is that these real-life inspirational stories will help you to discover Jesus, and you will come away wanting to walk life with Him on your own Layton Road adventure. Listen. He's calling, "Come! Walk with me."________________________________________________Jo Ann Walczak's life journey took her from teaching junior high English and high school journalism in Pennsylvania to teaching English in China and working as an orphanage missionary there.
