God's Porch

About this book

Russell L. Estes has done it again with God's Porch. In this sixty-day spiritual growth journey, he takes you down gravel roads and up mountain paths, that all lead directly to where God wants to meet you... His porch.Russell developed and strengthened a personal relationship with God after a difficult season that he knew only God could help him through. With inspiring, humorous, and soul-gripping tales, he will invite you to spend a few moments each day with God, talking intimately about your innermost desires.Russell says, "You don't have to go through a hard season like I did to begin working on your relationship with God. You can start right now. He's waiting on you, right there on the porch."If you have been a Christian your entire life, but you feel like your relationship with God is not where it should be, or if you are entirely new to Christianity, God's Porch has the potential to unlock your gifts from God, so that you can live your best life. You'll not only know God, but you will know about God.If knowing God isn't the same as knowing about God, then what does it mean to know him? Russell explains that once you know God the way He intends, you will be in line with the plans He has for you, and that is when your life becomes even more beautiful than you ever imagined. It is then that you begin to live your best life.To know God is to become more than acquaintances. It involves knowing his heart, his character, and his love. Knowing Him means that you can recognize his voice and feel his presence. When we know God, He doesn't feel distant or far away. Even when things get difficult in life, it means trusting the plan of God because he has proven to be trustworthy.God's Porch is a place to begin your journey to unlocking the potential that you did not even know existed. It's a place that is welcoming, loving and trusting. Are you ready to start the journey? Take the first step to where He is waiting... on His porch.
