No Time To Waste

About this book

Can one girl turn the tide before it's too late?In Book 2 of the award-winning Eco Warriors series, eleven-year-old Sydney returns for a real-world mission-this time beneath the waves. Fresh from rescuing polar bears in the Arctic, Sydney and her twin sister, Sierra, travel to the coast of California, where a towering sea kelp forest hides a dangerous secret. While scuba diving, Sydney reconnects with her animal guide, a sea otter named Sunny-only to discover that another otter is trapped in a deadly tangle of plastic pollution. Freeing the otter is just the beginning. A much bigger threat is spreading through the ocean, and Sydney must think fast, trust her instincts, and work with Sierra to protect the animals who are counting on her. But when every plan seems to fail and the danger keeps growing, Sydney starts to wonder if this mission is bigger than she can handle. There's literally no time to waste.
