Tattoo on my Heart

About this book

Every person has their own unique characteristics that make them who they are. However, our appearances do not define us. It is important that we accept the different traits about us and surround ourselves with those who leave positive impressions on our hearts. Tattoo on my Heart is an inspiring story about Jackie, a young girl who was born with port-wine stain, a beautiful, bold birthmark. Jackie learns how important it is to embrace her whole self and remain positive, ultimately discovering that others can see true beauty in her differences, too. As the story unfolds, Jackie transforms hurtful words into building blocks of empowerment. The kindness and acceptance that one individual shows her reveals an impactful lesson that beautiful words allow us to see the world in a whole new light.
