Friends Make the World Better!

About this book

Friends can make the world a better place! Through engaging rhymes, young readers will explore the characteristics of being a good friend. Making new friends takes courage, especially when another person looks a little different, talks a little different or does things a little different. However, with a little kindness, common interests will surface and friendships will develop. These friendships are special and will enrich our lives forever! This book was written to share with friends who support our mission to raise awareness and fund life-saving research for mitochondrial disease. The beautiful watercolor illustrations were created by children, who wanted to help a classmate and friend who is a brave, mito warrior!
