Love from Above

About this book

From the Emmy-nominated and New York Times bestselling author John Stamos comes Love from Above, a touching and inspirational story about remembering those we love in the signs that are all around us. When young Christopher sees a pair of hummingbirds fluttering through the garden, his dad tells him the story behind these incredibly special birds: Seeing them is a reminder of loved ones who have passed on. Christopher takes the hummingbirds as a sign sent by his grandparents, and he is reminded of the happy memories they shared. Christopher is overjoyed by this story and cannot wait to share it with all his friends, even those who are a bit skeptical. With a gentle reminder to think from their hearts, not their heads, soon Christopher's neighborhood friends are seeing signs from their loved ones all around. In sharing this special message, Christopher sleeps well, knowing that even though our loved ones may not be physically here, their love never really goes away. John Stamos makes his picture book debut as author and illustrator in this deeply personal story about navigating grief and remembering those we have lost. Through his moving words and gorgeous art, John reminds readers that love is all around us, if only we open our hearts to receive it.
