Star Berry Moon

About this book

Star Berry Moon is an Ojibwe inspired children's story about a little bunny rabbit named Waabooz and his wise grandma, who shares the legend of how blueberries first came to the people. Beneath the glowing July moon, Waabooz learns that every blueberry carries a tiny star and that even the smallest helper can bring hope, and light during difficult times. Filled with woodland animals, moonlit forests, and the seasonal teachings of Turtle Island, this heartwarming tale celebrates family, sharing, and the beauty of Anishinaabe storytelling.
