The Gospel According to Andy, Volume 3

About this book

Season 4 of The Andy Griffith Show brings us some of the most memorable episodes and some of the greatest life lessons of the series. In this third volume of his book series, The Gospel According to Andy, Pastor Ronald "Dee" Vaughan leads us in a study of each classic story from season four in search of the Christian life lessons it offers us. We'll see Opie raise three birds after he accidently kills their mother. Mayberry folks will face their fears as they explore a supposedly haunted house. A sermon by a preacher from New York will have the town working itself into exhaustion in an effort to relax. Gomer will demand justice by yelling "Citizen's Arrest!" and later leave Mayberry to join the Marine Corps. Barney will enjoy a proud moment after he rescues Andy and Helen from a collapsed cave, then become the town laughingstock as he patrols on his army surplus motorcycle. Each devotional is followed by a suggested prayer and a few fun facts about each episode.
