Little Lamb and the Shepherd Who Came

About this book

One little lamb wanders away-and a caring shepherd comes looking. Little Lamb and the Shepherd Who Came retells Jesus's parable of the lost sheep in gentle rhyme. Children follow a small lamb's journey away from the flock, the shepherd's search, and the joy of being found and brought home. Warm illustrations invite young listeners to linger with the story and share the relief of a happy return. Inspired by Luke 15, this Christian picture book opens a conversation about God's care, the joy of finding what was lost, and the comfort of belonging. Its rhyming story is made for reading aloud, with room to pause, ask questions, and remind a child that they are loved. Share it at bedtime, during family Bible time, or as a quiet moment together. A family note offers another starting point for talking about the shepherd's care and what Jesus taught.
