Jesus and the Honu of Maui

About this book

Some wounds do not disappear. They become the place where light enters.Jesus and the Honu of Maui is a powerful spiritual journey through grief, faith, creation, healing, and the sacred responsibility to care for what has been wounded. Through a scarred honu, an ocean carrying memory, an empty chair, an abandoned net, and a cross of light reflected across the water, this story explores what happens when sorrow is not erased-but transformed. You will discover how faith can survive unanswered prayers, why healing does not require forgetting, how responsibility can become an act of love, and how even the smallest act of care can restore connection between people, creation, and God.You will learn to see scars differently. To recognize hope without pretending pain is gone.To understand that peace is not the absence of wounds-and that love is often revealed by what we choose to protect, repair, and carry forward. This is more than a story about a boy, a turtle, and the sea.It is an invitation to return to what you thought you had lost.Read this book if you have ever grieved, questioned God, searched for meaning in suffering, or wondered whether something broken can still become sacred. The water remembers. The scars remain. And hope still rises.
