The Lamp and the Little Ones

About this book

One rainy day, four little ones open Nana's old Bible and a small brass lamp named Wick lights the way to a night long ago. Follow James, Blakely, Odee, and Jed as Wick leads them to Nazareth, to Mary, and to a baby in Bethlehem. Meet the shepherds on the hills, and the wise men who come later, to a house, with gifts for the small King. Told in rhyme, with warm, full color paintings on every page, A Baby in Bethlehem retells the Christmas story for ages 3 to 9, that God did not send a soldier, He sent a small King, and that the God who made mountains and oceans and trees looked at you, and loved you. With Scripture woven through the story, including Psalm 119:105, Matthew 2:11, and John 3:16 (KJV), this is Book One in The Lamp and the Little Ones, a rhyming journey through the Gospels. By Jacob and Brittany Fleming.
