The Gift You Cannot Wrap

About this book

The gifts Jesus loves cannot be wrapped. One special evening, Mommy opens the big Book and reads the story of the night Jesus was born - the manger in Bethlehem, the shepherds, the star, and the wise men with their precious gifts. Leah's eyes shine: "I want to give a gift to Jesus too!" But her piggy bank holds only three little coins... and anyway, how do you wrap a gift for Jesus? Then Grandma shares the secret, straight from the Bible: when you give with love, it is Him you give to. So Leah gives her time to Tom, her help to Mommy, her drawing to Grandma... and one last gift that never runs out.A faithful, tradition-free retelling of the nativity as the Bible describes it - no tree, no legends - woven into a warm story of generosity for ages 3-6, with a simple family ritual: each evening, give one gift that cannot be wrapped. From "The Bedtime Treasure" a story a night, a value to share as a family.
