You're on island time...Punctuated with vibrant illustrations that invoke the magic of the islands. Tinted with the blue of the Caribbean and the silver white of moonbeams, you will be transported back to the islands with every turn of the page. The author has created another bit of magic to read with your littles or just enjoy. The illustrations almost turn this book into a coffee table book and are so unique compared to her usual style. More than a children's picture book, this is a lesson in simple art appreciation. From the creator of Geckos in the Garden, Ess-Car-Go!, Puffin Lullaby, and more, this book contains Ruth Amanda's signature magic with a strikingly unique twist on her illustration style using the vibrance of acrylics on canvas to create images that evoke the warmth and blueness of the Caribbean at night.
