A Veces Volamos

About this book

Before eating cake, riding a bike, mastering difficult ballet choreography, or winning a game with your team comes a story of failures, disappointments, mistakes, and moments where it's tempting to throw in the towel. But as the award-winning writer Katherine Applegate and illustrator Jennifer Black Reinhardt eloquently say, that's just what life is about. Failing and trying aren't the end of the road, but rather the journey itself. With any luck, the time for eating cake will come. This story full of wisdom and love is a message that will resonate with young readers lucky enough to come across it.
