Charivari - Où-Es Tu, Papa?

About this book

Eight-year-old Abel lives with his dad in a big city that looks like a snail. In his neighborhood, he has his favorite landmarks whether it be the local grocery store or the little fast food joint at the end of his street. Overall, he is quite satisfied with his life, often spending his weekends with his godmother Manue and, during the summer, at his grandmother's house. If only his father could act like a child more often and not get caught up in his work... This musical tale in French explores the adult world through the fresh eyes of a child. It's a naïve, touching portrait of family life when there's only one parent.
