Finding Your Light

About this book

You may not have understood why, but something in your childhood felt off. From the outside, a family may appear happy, stable, and secure. But behind that facade, many children grow up feeling alone, unsure what it means to be loved, and responsible for emotional dynamics they don't yet understand. In Finding Your Light, Maya Noor reflects on her own experience of growing up with a narcissistic parent and explores the lasting impact it can have well into adulthood. Without clear language or validation, many carry these wounds quietly, struggling with self-doubt, people-pleasing, weak boundaries, and a deep sense of never being "enough."Rather than offering clinical solutions, Noor provides something different: a lived perspective shaped by reflection, awareness, and growth. Through her MEPS approach to healing-mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual-she invites readers to: Understand the patterns of narcissistic parenting and name what they lived through Recognize how those early experiences shaped their adult lives Begin a holistic path toward recovery, self-worth, and peace Written from both personal experience and deep reflection, Finding Your Light is a reminder that your past does not define you. No matter the circumstances you were born into, healing is possible. It is never too late to step into a life rooted in peace, self-worth, and light.
