King Kenny and the Cave of Mysteries

About this book

From 2024's International Impact Book Award Winner in Children's Picture Books, King Kenny and the Fox's Cape, comes a brave sequel that evokes the tale of David and Goliath. Have you ever been faced with a seemingly insurmountable task? The lion hero, King Kenny, returns to succeed where others have failed. He may not be the tallest. He may not be the strongest. And he may not be the fastest. However, with courage as his weapon and armor, he goes to do the impossible. The river has dried up, leaving the jungle without water, and Kenny must climb the perilous mountain and take on the Cave of Mysteries to save the jungle. Everyone expects him to fail. King Kenny and the Cave of Mysteries offers a new allegorical spin on the story of David and Goliath. The second book in the award-winning tale of King Kenny brings an adventure filled with heart, humor, heroic determination, and a hero that young readers can relate to.
