Joni's Perfect Mud

About this book

Captivating illustrations in vibrant colors bring to life an uplifting tale on the value of patience, a trait that can be especially challenging for young kids to master. Joni, a young hippo who's favorite thing in the world is to play in mud, is stuck inside during a long storm, and her patience is wearing thin. Joni's discovery of perfect mud left behind by all the rain will demonstrate to young hearts that waiting out the dark clouds is worth it.An excellent teaching tool for parents, grandparents, educators, Sunday school teachers, or anyone who desires to encourage the little ones in their care to be more patient. A relatable way to show children the power of steadfast waiting and to inspire them to practice patience. This Biblically based message is designed to bring hope and encouragement to readers of all ages through the thought-provoking Author's Notes to Adults and the Questions for Kids at the end of the story. A short, written prayer provides an opportunity for older readers and younger listeners to connect by praying together, or it can also be used independently by older children reading to themselves. While the teaching itself spans all ages, the wonderful illustrations and intriguing narrative will be especially enjoyed by children ages 2-8.GOOD ATTITUDES: BOOK 1 OF 3
